Russia's Tishchenko wins boxing lightweight gold
BEIJING (AP) Alexey Tishchenko of Russia has won his second Olympic boxing gold medal, surviving a tight bout against Daouda Sow of France for an 11-9 victory.
Tishchenko won the featherweight gold medal in Athens and a world championship in 2005 before moving up in weight. He won just Russia's second boxing gold in Beijing, a disappointing showing for the 11-man team.
Tishchenko hung on to a narrow lead against Sow, the surprising silver medalist. Tishchenko got the decisive point with 13 seconds left, sending Sow's coaches into a demonstrative protest.

Talented Twins
The Puerto Rican boxing team features twin brothers, McJoe and McWilliams Arroyo, who are going for the gold in Beijing.
